In its new wave of escalating repression over the Iranian society in order to control the mass unrest in the country, the Islamic Republic Regime has resorted to tormenting and the detention of the religious minorities in . The recent news of the detention of seven Bahai religious custodians along with 10 other citizens of who converted to Christianity is amongst some examples of Clero-Fascist regime’s increasing persecution of the religious minorities in Iran The Green Party of Iran unequivocally condemns the detention and the persecution of Iran’s religious minorities and urges the Secretary-General of the United Nations and all Human Rights organisations around the world to press the Islamic Republic for the release of ideological and religious minority detainees in Iran.
