In an astonishing twitter, Trita Parsi the life time president of NIAC, a pro-Tehran lobby organization has expressed pleasure that his Iran policy recommendations have become popular in Washington.
He wrote: "Am pretty pleased :) Most of our positions-on diplomacy to sanctions-which once were "non-starters" are held widely in mainstream now..."
In reality, Since 1997, Parsi has been lobbying the Congress and the White House to lift sanctions and pressure against Iran. On the contrary, general consensus in Washington is to increase crippling sanctions against Iran.
If this could be considered a victory, the sky is the limit for his lies.
