On January 28, Woodrow Wilson Center  is once again hosting the Iranian businessman Bijan Khajehpour to discuss the nuclear issue. Khajehpour is the founder and manager of Atieh Bahar, a company with close ties to the regime especially Rafsanjani clan

On Mondy January 28, Woodrow Wilson Center's Middle East program is once again hosting the Iranian businessman Bijan Khajehpour to discuss the nuclear issue. Khajehpour is the founder and manager of Atieh Bahar, a company with close ties to the regime especially Rafsanjani clan.

Khajehpour and other Atieh Bahar officers and employees are regularly invited by Wilson Center and have received financial and political support from the Center.

Simak Namazi, Atieh's managing director until 2008 was a Center fellow in 2005 and Trita Parsi who worked for Atieh Bahar was also a scholar at the Center.

In 2009, the regime infighting intensified and Rafsanjani faction was weakened. His son Mehdi was forced to leave the country and Khajehpour was imprisoned for three months.
